Paige grew up in Colorado and learned to play the violin through the Boulder Suzuki program. Her curiosities and musical ambitions led her to explore several other instruments and styles of music, often turning her violin into a fiddle. Paige participated in Colorado All State and Western States Honor Orchestra while being an active member of her high school’s orchestra in Boulder. Her passion for teaching is greatly driven by her love for making music with other people. She aims to provide an inspiring and engaging atmosphere for students, focusing on the fundamental techniques of violin while also developing skills that are applicable across multiple instruments. While pursuing degrees in music and environmental science at the University of Puget Sound, she is actively involved in musical gigs around the Seattle area, often playing with choirs and working with local composers. In the moments that she is not creating, teaching, or listening to music, Paige is likely climbing or working on her latest textile project.
