Rachael Stein is a passionate music educator and former band director dedicated to fostering a love for music in students of all backgrounds. She holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she was an active performer in jazz band, symphony orchestra, wind ensemble, marching band, and various chamber ensembles. Rachael’s musical journey began at an early age, starting piano at just four years old and trumpet at seven. Her lifelong dedication to music led her to a successful career as a band director for six years, during which she taught AP Music Theory, jazz band, concert ensembles, and competitive marching band. Recently, Rachael relocated to Boulder, Colorado, where she is pursuing a Master of the Environment at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her mission is to create a welcoming and engaging environment that inspires students to develop their passion for music and remain active in their musical journey.
